In 2012, The Royal Hamilton Light Infantry (Wentworth Regiment) marks our 150th Anniversary! Founded in 1862, we are the senior infantry Regiment in Hamilton-Burlington and 10th in the entire Canadian Forces Infantry Corp Order of Precedence. We have been a presence in our communities in war and peace, good times and bad, during Royal visits, and special events for our own citizens. Our Band has entertained Hamilton and Burlington residents, and crowds across North America, the United Kingdom and Europe for nearly a century and a half.

Our list of 40 Battle Honours and accomplishments on behalf of Canada is impressive and growing. Our commitment continues with our soldiers serving on active duty in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Sierra Leone, Kenya, Haiti and in combat in Afghanistan outside Canada, and on humanitarian relief operations in Canada in defence and aid of our community and country. Tens of thousands of soldiers have passed through our ranks since the days of "The Old 13th" fighting Fenians in Niagara, and now today's RHLI.

With our 150th fast approaching, it is time to gather all of today's Rileys together so you can be informed about all the excitement being planned – and there will be excitement!

We'd like you to take a moment to register. It doesn't cost anything, and it's the best way to keep you up-to-date on the upcoming activities planned by your Regiment, give you first access to commemorative souvenirs from the Kit Shop and tickets to special events, and donate to your Regiment's future.

We'd like to display your name (with your permission) to help you re-unite with old comrades. We'd like you to forward this to them so they can sign up as well! And, if you know someone you think should become a friend of the Regiment, send this to them too!

So, use the Registration Form and tell us about yourself, your service and your commitment to your Regiment. Tell us your favourite reminiscence and share it with all of us.
